Brown University

Brown's Open Curriculum lets you design your own education: there are no general-education requirements, so you choose the courses and the path. Located on College Hill in Providence, Rhode Island, it is one of the Ivy League's most flexible and independent-minded schools. You can cross-register at the Rhode Island School of Design next door, and most courses can be taken satisfactory/no-credit instead of for a letter grade. It suits self-starters who want to chase their curiosity instead of a checklist.
