Columbia University in the City of New York

Columbia puts you in New York City, in Morningside Heights, with one of the most famous undergraduate programs in the country: the Core. Students in Columbia College read and debate the same classic works in small seminars, which creates a shared intellectual experience. The campus feels like a green oasis, but museums, internships and the subway are right outside. Barnard College, a women's college, is next door and shares classes and campus life.
