Duke University

Duke, in Durham, North Carolina, mixes serious academics with famously intense school spirit. A soaring Gothic chapel anchors a campus surrounded by forest, and the Cameron Crazies at Cameron Indoor Stadium make a basketball game feel like a rite of passage. Students are strong in pre-med, public policy and engineering, and Duke is part of the Research Triangle, a hub for tech and biotech with UNC and NC State nearby. Expect a collaborative, work-hard, play-hard culture.
