Harvard University

Harvard, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is the oldest university in the United States and still sets the standard for name recognition. First-year students live in and around Harvard Yard, then move into residential houses that become their social homes for the rest of college. Its library system is one of the largest in the world, and students can cross-register for classes at MIT. Boston is a quick ride on the Red Line, so city life, internships and other colleges are always close.
