Loyola University Chicago

Loyola University Chicago is a Jesuit university on the shores of Lake Michigan, with a lakefront campus in the Rogers Park neighborhood and another in downtown Chicago. Its mission centers on service and social justice, and students can pursue strong programs in business, nursing and the sciences. The Ramblers became a household name during their 2018 basketball Final Four run, cheered on by team chaplain Sister Jean. If you want a values-driven education with city access and a beach nearby, Loyola is worth a look.
