United States Military Academy

The U.S. Military Academy at West Point, high above the Hudson River in New York, is both a college and an Army officer training program. Cadets receive a tuition-free education, take a demanding core curriculum and graduate as second lieutenants with a service commitment. Admission usually requires a nomination from a member of Congress or another official source. It is a unique choice built around leadership, character and service, with the traditions of Army football and the Corps of Cadets.
